This Payment Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and governs all payments made to DK Cleaning Agency for services provided within the United Kingdom.
By booking our services, you agree to be legally bound by this Payment Policy.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept secure online payments via:
- PayPal
- Stripe
All transactions are processed securely through third-party payment processors. DK Cleaning Agency does not store or have access to customers’ full debit or credit card details.
2. Pricing & VAT
- All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (£).
- Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time.
- For ongoing or recurring services, clients will receive reasonable written notice of any price changes.
A confirmed booking constitutes acceptance of the quoted price.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 One-Off Services
- Full payment may be required at the time of booking.
- For larger projects (including but not limited to end-of-tenancy or deep cleaning), a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid prior to or immediately upon completion of the service.
3.2 Recurring Services
- Payment is due in advance of each scheduled service period.
- Where authorised, recurring payments will be automatically charged via PayPal or Stripe.
- Failure of automatic payment may result in immediate suspension of services.
We reserve the right to withhold services where payment has not been received in cleared funds.
4. Late, Failed or Reversed Payments
If a payment:
- Is declined
- Is reversed
- Is subject to insufficient funds
- Is disputed or charged back
We reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend services
- Recover any outstanding sums
- Recover administrative and recovery costs
- Terminate ongoing agreements without further notice
All outstanding amounts shall become immediately due and payable.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
5.1 Cancellation Policy
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service fee.
- Same-day cancellations may be charged up to 100% of the agreed service fee.
Deposits (where applicable) are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2 Refund Requests
Refunds are not automatically granted.
If you are dissatisfied with the service:
- You must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.
- We reserve the right to inspect the issue and offer a re-clean before considering any refund.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed via the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and are outside our control.
6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting DK Cleaning Agency to resolve the matter constitutes a breach of this Payment Policy.
Where a chargeback is initiated:
- We reserve the right to dispute the claim with evidence of service delivery.
- Any associated administrative, legal, or processing fees may be recovered from the client.
- Future services may be refused permanently.
We maintain detailed service records, timestamps, and communications for dispute resolution purposes.
7. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the absolute right to refuse or cancel any booking where:
- Fraudulent activity is suspected
- Payment verification fails
- There is a history of payment disputes
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under UK law, DK Cleaning Agency shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential financial loss
- Bank processing delays
- Third-party payment gateway errors
Our total liability relating to payment matters shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service in question.
9. Governing Law
This Payment Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
